Where the wild things are: On Campus

The reports of wild dogs on campus continue to grow at an alarming pace. It is now believed that there are atleast 30 dogs running wild on the expansive 213 hectares campus. Campus Security is unsure of their origin but because of the sudden spike in phone calls, they believe that the reports just have to be true. Three Canadian studies students say they were chased by a pack of Chocalate Labs from the Social science building to the LRT overpass at around 8 PM on Sunday. While no injuries occured, University officials believe that the outcome could have been very serious considering the number of dogs. Student council members are unsure of where the dogs are coming from and why they are making the university their habitat, but urge the student body not to feed the starved canine. "If we don't feed them they will go away" said President Baez. Animal control services have been making their rounds across campus today and seem to have the situation under control. More on this top story later.

Dogs?

There have been recent reports of offleashed dogs roaming the University grounds, particularly by the Haskyane school of business. The University wanted to politely remind students that the campus is a Dog-free zone and to please keep your pets at home. If you happen to see a dog on campus please call Campus Security at 403-220-5333.
